IOWA -- It was a chilly morning in Iowa, with lows in the teens in the northwest. We begin a warming trend on Tuesday that will take us into Thursday.
A few sprinkles will cross the state during the evening hours on Monday. Most of the precipitation will evaporate before reaching the ground. Overnight lows will be a little milder.
Thursday brings our only decent rain chance of the 7-day forecast as a cold front drops into Iowa. Amounts look light. Thursday will also be a breezy day.
Highs for the next 7 days can be found in the slideshow above, and your WHO 13 7-day forecasts below. Extended forecasts keep us on the warm side. It does appear that the week following this one will feature more rainfall in Iowa.
