US-Iran talks may be held in Islamabad

Talks between the United States and Iran may be held in Pakistan's capital Islamabad, Axios reports. According to the publication, mediators are trying to organize a meeting between the sides in Islamabad toward the end of the week. The Iranian delegation is expected to be led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, while the U.S. side will be represented by Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and J.D. Vance.
