The Foxes were the better side in the 0-0 draw at Vicarage Road, having had seven days to get ready for it after not playing in midweek. Watford, by contrast, had only four days of preparation and have a long injury list. Still reserved special praise for the visitors' boss, Gary Rowett, and was on impressed by what did a look a talented Leicester side, despite their shortcomings this season. He said: "On paper the quality of their line-up, they're really good players. "They've got a really good manager who has an incomparable CV to mine. "I have massive respect for somebody who's had such longevity, who's been so successful in the division, and the work they're putting in is real, serious work. "He's fully aware of the situation that his team is in and we knew how stern a test it was going to be. "I'll say again, the difference of freshness is massive. When you've got a fully-fit squad of 20-22 players, you can choose to keep the freshness and energy in the team. "We've had about 15 or 16 available and probably half of those who were fully fit for the game. "They've had a full week to prepare for this so that makes a big difference and we saw that in moments of the game."
