
Nursing home 'delighted' after achieving 99.78 rating

A NURSING home has achieved a 99.78 per cent rating following its latest infection prevention and control inspection.
Steeton Court, a Spellman Care home, says it's "absolutely delighted" with the result.
Caroline Cowland, home manager, says: "Achieving a 99.78 per cent score from the local authority's infection prevention and control team is an incredible milestone for us.
"The result isn't just a number on a report; it represents the peace of mind we provide to our residents and their families.
"I'm immensely proud of the entire staff, but particularly our housekeeping team, for its relentless pursuit of excellence."
Geraldine Price, head housekeeper, says: "My team and I are absolutely delighted with this result. We take our responsibilities very seriously because we know a clean home is a safe home. Every member of the team works with such heart and attention to detail, and seeing that dedication recognised with a high score is wonderful. We're committed to maintaining these standards every day for our residents, who are like family to us."
