BASINGSTOKE Golf Club and a luxury hospitality venue are coming together to offer new experience packages. Basingstoke Golf Club and Audleys Wood Hotel have announced a partnership that blends championship golf with country house hospitality. Under the agreement, club members, visitors and hotel guests will benefit from exclusive offers that combine the historic charm of a Victorian country house with one of the region's newest golf destinations. David Green, general manager at Basingstoke Golf Club, said: "We're delighted to announce this exciting partnership which provides both parties with an opportunity to experience the leisure and hospitality sectors on a wider platform, and for Basingstoke Golf Club to have a beautiful and historic country hotel to offer to our customer base, whether local or coming from further afield." The hotel will also extend benefits to its guests, who can enjoy special green fee rates on the club's newly redesigned championship course as part of golf packages and stay-and-play offers. The 'Golf Day Experience' starts at £100 per person, and the 'Golf & Stay' package is available from £210 per person (based on two people sharing), including dinner, bed, and breakfast. James Webb, general manager at Audleys Wood Hotel, said: "This partnership brings together two Hampshire businesses united by a shared passion for delivering exceptional leisure experiences. "What excites me most is the opportunity to connect the heritage and character of our Grade-II listed country house with the forward-thinking vision of modern championship golf." Bookings are subject to availability and must be made in advance. Midweek tee times are available from 11am (excluding Tuesdays) until the end of March, with weekend slots from 12.30pm from March onwards. Corporate and group offerings will be introduced from spring 2026, following the launch of Basingstoke Golf Club's new driving range. Basingstoke Golf Club, now in Dummer, relocated in 2021 and has since undergone extensive redevelopment. The investment has resulted in a new 18-hole championship course designed by Weller Designs, a contemporary clubhouse, and upgraded practice facilities -- all part of a £20 million transformation. The par-72 layout will be officially inaugurated at a ceremony this spring. Audleys Wood Hotel, part of the Hand Picked Hotels collection, is a Grade-II listed Victorian property set within landscaped grounds on the outskirts of Basingstoke. It features individually designed bedrooms, seasonal dining, and flexible spaces for meetings, weddings, and private events, blending heritage architecture with modern comfort.
