YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A man facing a felony strangulation charge from a domestic dispute pleaded guilty earlier this month to reduced charges in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
Jonathan Jones, 29, entered guilty pleas March 9 to misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and criminal trespass before Visiting Judge W. Wyatt McKay.
Jones was placed on probation and ordered to continue counseling he has been receiving.
The plea agreement was approved by the victim, a court spokesman said.
The charges stem from a domestic dispute in October in Canfield Township.
