Livonia, LA - JoAnn Drago, age 76, passed away on March 21, 2026, after a very brief illness, leaving behind a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories with those who knew her best. JoAnn is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Samuel "Butch" Drago, whose life was deeply intertwined with hers through decades of partnership, commitment, and love. She is also survived by her daughter, Kristie Causey, and son-in-law, Barry Causey. She leaves behind her treasured granddaughters, Meghan Catherine Causey (and her fiancé, Barrow Clement) and Caroline Grace Causey (and her boyfriend, Kevin Jaarsma), who brought her immense pride and joy. JoAnn dedicated 50 years of her career to Star Telephone Company, where she was known for her dedication, reliability, and the relationships she built over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Catherine Russo, as well as her mother- and father-in-law, Joe and Bertha Drago. JoAnn will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the warmth she shared with those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Visiting will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Livonia from 9AM until the mass of Christian burial at 11AM. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
