Carrie Anne Fleming, an actress known for her roles in "Supernatural" and "iZombie," has died at the age of 51. Fleming's "Supernatural" co-star Jim Beaver announced her passing on Facebook earlier this month. A representative for the actress also confirmed her death to The Hollywood Reporter. "She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature, with a rapturous laugh and an utterly adorable personality that didn't seem to have an off switch," Beaver wrote, adding that he considered Fleming a "soul mate" almost instantly after meeting on the set of "Supernatural." People, citing a statement from a representative, had died after a battle with breast cancer on Feb. 26. "She died peacefully with her loved ones by her side," Fleming's representative told the outlet. "It was a great privilege to have known Carrie. She was a beautiful soul, inspiring, and above all, kind. She will be greatly missed." Fleming began her film and TV career in the mid-'90s with a role in the TV movie "Viper" and an uncredited appearance in "Happy Gilmore," per IMDb. She went on to earn recurring roles in cult series including "The 4400," appearing as the biological mother of character who had disappeared decades earlier, and "Supernatural," as a woman who returned from the dead. Fleming later appeared as Candy Baker on the CW's "iZombie" throughout the show's five seasons. Appearing on a 2019 episode of the "iZombie Podcast," Fleming said she "had the best time" filming the series. And after it ended, she said she was ready to "settle down and enjoy the things that I want to do." "Everyone keeps going, 'What's next? What's next?' and I'm like, 'Whatever the f -- I want," she said. Fleming leaves behind a daughter, Variety reported.
