HONOR is preparing for the official release of its Magic 9 series and the 600 series of smartphones. The flagship lineup includes the Magic 9, 9 Pro, and 9 RSR, while the 600 series adds the standard 600 and 600 Pro to the already-released 600 Lite. But ahead of the launch, key specs and design of the upcoming devices have leaked.
As per a new leak, the upcoming HONOR Magic 9 will feature a 6.36-inch flat display. Further, the phone is said to feature a 200MP high-resolution main camera along with a 64MP periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide. As for the power, the phone is tipped to pack a large 8,000mAh battery. This is an impressive number, especially given that the phone will be smaller in size.
Speaking of the design, the HONOR Magic 9 will feature a back panel appearance similar to the Magic8 Pro Air. As seen in the image, the device features a striking orange matte finish paired with a sculpted camera module that blends smoothly into the back panel. Unlike the full-width bar on the 600 series, the Magic 9 opts for a compact, raised camera island with rounded edges.
Apart from the Magic 9 series, the company is also working on the new mid-range-focused HONOR 600 and 600 Pro smartphones. Both devices are said to feature a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Further, the phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 series chipset.
Coming down to the battery, the HONOR 600 Pro is said to pack a massive 9,000mAh cell. In terms of design, the Chinese tech giant continues to take inspiration from Apple's current aesthetic. The rear panel features a full-width camera bar that houses camera lenses, an LED flash, and autofocus elements. The devices will be available in black, gold, and a bold orange color option. The 600 Pro stands out with a zoom camera alongside a 200MP main sensor and ultra-wide lens. The vanilla model, on the other hand, will have a dual rear camera.
