Ex Man City star's top holiday spot in Wales is 'like a posh council estate'

Former Manchester City star Kyle Walker, who currently plays for Burnley FC, spoke to ex footballer and now pundit Gary Neville for The Overlap. They covered a variety of football subjects but also ventured into what life is like away from the pitch for the multi-millionaire fullback with 96 England caps. Gary then asked Kyle what his favourite holiday destination is and appeared taken aback by the response. Instead of some exotic island or globally renowned city, Walker names Abersoch as his preferred holiday location. He added: "If you got to know me I'm not how the media paints me.", reports North Wales Live. Kyle was asked, what is in Abersoch that we "need to know about". Describing where he stays, Walker said: "I'd say it's a posh caravan - like a chalet that we've got. "I wouldn't even call it a lodge, it's a posh caravan. "We just go down there, there's just a really good vibe, good community, it's like a posh council estate. "The kids go off in the morning, leave you, and they come back at night, it's fantastic. "You go to these nice hotels and everything, and your kids are swinging off the chandeliers and I'm thinking 'oh my gosh, get me out' - that's why I prefer to be down there." Abersoch has long been an extremely popular holiday destination for visitors from the North West of England, giving it a 'Cheshire by the Sea' moniker.
