ABUJA, March 23, 2026 (Naija247news) - Air France has extended the suspension of its flights to and from key Middle East destinations, citing ongoing security concerns and regional instability.
In a statement, the airline said services to Dubai and Riyadh will remain suspended until March 31, while flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut have been halted until April 4.
The move reflects growing caution among global carriers as geopolitical tensions continue to disrupt air travel across parts of the Middle East.
Other major airlines, including British Airways and Lufthansa, have also extended cancellations on routes to the affected cities, with some suspensions stretching into late March, April, and even May.
Industry analysts say the coordinated flight suspensions underscore heightened safety concerns and operational risks, as airlines continue to monitor the evolving situation before resuming normal services.
Passengers have been advised to check with airlines for updates and alternative travel arrangements, as uncertainty persists over when full operations will resume.
